What is a safety clip?

Our inkjet cartridges, mainly HP and Lexmark printers, are shipped in a protective plastic clip. This may cause the cartridge to appear as if it won't fit inside your printer. Remove the shipping clip. After removing the clip, the cartridge will look the same as your original cartridge.
